Love Local, keeping NW3 unique.
Madison Carter is proud to launch a local campaign called “Love Local” which is encouraging people to frequent, support and recommend local, independent businesses on (and off) the high street.
This isn’t a campaign railing against big supermarket or coffee chains, but a positive campaign to champion and highlight individual shops, restaurants and attractions, and, importantly, the people behind them that make Hampstead such a great place to live.
We are publishing features on local businesses, and their owners and employees, going into the history, motivations, and unique features that make them stand out. We’re also inviting businesses to display their support by sticking one of our Love Local stickers in their window (we have virtual stickers too, for your website).
“Whether it’s a breakfast, a bottle of wine, or clothes for my children, I am in and out of Hampstead’s independent businesses daily. But it’s certainly easy to slip into the habit of a chain coffee and a big supermarket shop. There is such a richness of independent traders here, and we mustn’t forget that Hampstead attracts the very best in fashion, design, food, drink, and the arts. We all need a gentle nudge to take stock and appreciate what’s here.”
